The Farmhouse is only a few minutes away from Montepulciano

Podere La Rocca Farmhouse has a strategic position, close to the birthplace of the Italian wine Nobile di Montepulciano, and not far from Umbria, the so-called green lung of Italy with its distinctive and world-famous borghi (historic villages). It is nestled in the fields, vineyards and orchards of La Rocca family who, for three generations, have been cultivating and growing local products.
Another advantage, besides its location, is definitely the hospitality and friendliness that Marianna and Federico show to our guests. Since its opening, in the second half of the last century, they have been at the helm of the farmhouse trying to fulfill the requests and meet the needs of every visitors. All you have to do is relax and enjoy your stay. The agricultural property is large and technologically advanced. It extends for over 400 hectares divided between vineyards, orchards and also hugely diverse vegetable and cereal plantations. You can taste all the genuine produce of the farm for breakfast or at our restaurant. Everything has been designed uniquely; all the areas of the structure are the result of the meticulous work of local craftsmen who have given a real touch of class to the farmhouse, making it pleasant while preserving its features and ancient atmosphere.

At our restaurant, run by our chef Federico, we serve delicious and natural dishes made with “zero km” products, many of which we grown in our farm. Federico - drawing inspiration from local and family recipes - also gives cooking classes through which you will have the possibility to experience a world of ancient flavors and scents.
